My car is in for the 15k service. I usually get a really basic A3 loaner, but I scored a Q5 today. It’s really nice but the sound of the engine ruins it. Something so weird about sitting a big luxury vehicle and hearing a base Jetta when you step on the gas. I’d option the 3.0 or go with an SQ5 if I was in the market for one.

Me too. I drove one when I was helping a friend car shop, and I loved it. He ended up getting a Macan S, but I liked the Audi much better.

Yea it is actually. Not overly, but it’s bigger than it feels if that makes sense. The cockpit is cozy so it feels small, but after you asked the question I had a look around and it’s got plenty of room. I could sit comfortably behind the drivers seat with a few inches to spare. Thinking you could fit 2-3 golf bags in the back (drivers out).

It’s not bad, it’s a super nice car. The engine note is just off putting. Most of the time the engine is pretty quiet and it’s fine but when you can hear it, it sounds bad . My only other gripe is with the breaks they’re super soft for a car with less than 10k miles.

The SQ5 sounds really nice with some modifications. Personally, I’d take either a 2.0 tdi or 3.0 tdi.

Yea it’s not great and no feedback. Not the worst electronic rack I’ve driven but the base q5 overall is just soft.
